Protection of personal data

The IMSEE processes personal data in compliance with the provisions of Law No. 1.565 of 3 December 2024 on the protection of personal data, under the supervision of the Data Protection Authority

The data processing activities carried out by the IMSEE in the course of its missions are primarily based on the performance of a task carried out in the public interest. In this respect, they comply with the principles of purpose limitation, proportionality, and data minimisation, ensuring that only the data strictly necessary for the purposes pursued are collected and processed.

The IMSEE implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data it processes. These data are retained for a limited period, in accordance with the retention periods defined for each processing activity.

In line with the principle of accountability, the IMSEE maintains an internal record of processing activities, listing and describing all personal data processing operations it carries out (purposes, categories of data subjects, retention periods, security measures, etc.). This record is regularly updated and may be provided to the APDP upon request.
