Official population 2021

As of 31 December 2021, the population is estimated at 39,150 inhabitants according to the terms of Ministerial Order No. 2022-201 of 19 April 2022.

As a reminder, this estimate is made by IMSEE on the basis of the latest figure from the population census (as at 7 June 2016), adding the natural and migratory balances. These balances are estimated on the basis of data from the Police Department and the Civil Status Department of the Town Hall.
